I'm looking to write a C# addin to MapPoint to generate GPS XML route data from a driving directions route in MapPoint. The only thing I cannot figure out is how to write an addin for mappoint in C#. I only have access to VS.NET 2002

You have to have VS.NET 2003 for the addin wizard to work but I'm assuming if I could find the documentation I could write my own addin code instead of relying on a wizard to generate it for me. And examples of a C# adding for map point would be the best, any pointers at all would be much appreciated.
