Hi

I have just a question, perhaps it will be stupid for you. I want to have the name of a street and/or the name of the town with the longitude and the latitude, or with the positions X and Y of lambert.

i have seen what there is a command for that, but I did not manage to make it work. (sorry for my english).

That's why, if someone can help me

, i want juste some explanations or an example.

Hi,

I think the best is that you convert Lambert to Mercator - WGS-84 for the positions in database you have.

i think that my question wasn't clear.

I have X Y lambert positions and longitude, latitude.
So i want to know if we can obtain the name of one street and/or the name of the country with these datas.

There is a command for find that ? Or have you an idea for obtain these datas. if someone can give me a name of a method and some explanations to use it.

Hi,

Sorry I did not read your original post very well. The answer is yes you can with longitude and latitude. This is example:

Code:

Location loc = MP.ActiveMap.GetLocation(lat, lon, 1);
loc.GoTo();

FindResults streetResults = map.ObjectsFromPoint(map.LocationToX(loc), map.LocationToY(loc));

foreach (object o in streetResults) {
    Location streetLoc = o as Location;
    if(streetLoc == null)
        continue;
    // ...
