Calculate Distance Between 2 Street Addresses?

How do you calculate the distance between two street addresses?

I want to be able to enter address 1 and address 2 and it gives me the distance between the two.

I area I want covered is for the state of Maryland.

you can do it very easy manually:
you can add 2 pushpins to the wanted addresses (not necessary but easier for the eyes )
then draw a line (with the line tool) between the two pins.
right click on the new line and choose the show distance.
the distance will appear on the line as a new Label.
that's it!
