Can graphic files be improted into MapPoint Europe 2006 ?

 Can graphic files be improted into MapPoint Europe 2006 ? Can anyone tell me if it is possible to import graphic files (jpg , bmp anything) into MapPoint Europe 2006 ? I have some aerial photographs of this area and it would be nice to improve MapPoint by incorporating them into its maps. Thanks for your time Ian         |

Not really. You can't do it like you can with Google Maps, Virtual Earth, MapServer, etc. where an aerial image can be draped over a map. In theory (I've never done it myself - it doesn't seem worth it, but I've heard of people doing it), you could tile your image and import these images as pushpins. Then plot pushpins in a grid. It would be difficult to get to work, and would only work at one zoom level. Limited alpha support (ie. on or off!) would probably also limit the practicality of this method. Richard
