I have linked a spreadsheet to my map, and update it when I open map sicne its an evolving sheet.

Now my question is this, is there some way I can list the individual pins within the set in the left hand column? See gtraphic where the 'St Cloud Overview' sheet is listed, but I need to see the individual points within it listed in same area.. can I weven do this?

If you're asking whether you can have a treeview list of points, there isn't one provided in MapPoint.
It is something that would be programmed around the ActiveX control or the application.

Short of custom programming, one thing I'd recommend is the Export to Excel feature. You can export entire datasets to Excel or draw a shape like a rectangle or Freeform and then right click on the shape and select Export to Excel.
