Just wondering if you are publishing the Docs to allow using the "pushpin tool" to be used in a VB(A) program. I only have the trail at this point, but would purchase, If I knew that I could automate.
Thanks,

The Pushpin Tool cannot be automated. Actually, the individual functions it performs do not require a considerable amount of code themselves (the value is in providing a number of commonly-needed features in a single, easy-to-use interface without requiring any code).
If you share specifically what you want to accomplish, we can probably help you with the code VB(A) code snippet.

Hi Eric,
I have an Access database with addresses that I need to export into a Garmin 2620. I need to populate the database with long/lat to send to the data points to the 2620.
This is for a Pickup route which changes everyday.
Thanks,
Steve
Are you using the Pushpin Tool for this? It seems unrelated.. check out Coordinate Exchange (CoordEx) for MapPoint.

I have been searching for a way to get the lat/lon information from a Location object, and your plug-in is the only thing I have found that looks like it can accomplish this. I'm trying to retrieve a bunch of Polygons' locations, rather than pushpins, to be used in the MapPoint web service, can you give me a hint about how to access this data in VBA?
Check out Walt Cygan's mid/mif (MapInfo interchange text format) exporter at: http://www.mp2kmag.com/importersub01.asp
Hope this helps!
