I pastor a church and am interested in assigning "lay pastors" to parishes, or zones, much like you might find in a "Thomas Guide" where an area is broken down by squares on a map.

So, I would like to:

1.divide our county up into zones or areas x many miles square.

2. I would like to import my church membership list into MapPoint so that I can view the pushpins in each zone.

3. I would like to print out maps by zone to give to the "lay pastor" assigned to each.

4. I would like to print out master maps showing the county and zones with a listing of the people in each zone.

I purchased MapPoint and have been trying to figure out how to do this, but so far have been unsuccessful. Is it possible?

I think this is quite possible. Import your membership with the import data wizard and draw your zones by drawing rectangles or the scribble (freehard tool)
