Hi to all!

I am trying to import an excel file into Mappoint 2002, but I´m always getting an error (unexpected file extension)
I´ve also tried to import the sample file from Microsoft and it is also not working with the same error message.
I´ve looked into the Knowledgebase and installed mdac&jet drivers, but it is still not running.

I´ve also searched this forum here, some people seem to have the same problem as me but I couldn´t find a solution that fits for me.

It is an ".xls" file, isn't it?

Is the file produced by a version of Excel which is more recent that MapPoint 2002 (v.2004 is now out)? If so, try saving it as an older "Office 2000" format.

I haven't seen this problem before, so these are just some ideas to try.

I already tried that but it didn´t work!
I´ve installed Mappoint on another PC and it works now...don´t know why it works on this one but it works...
