Can you bring with the Location Sensor within a VB program?

Could someone point me in the proper direction. I have a VB application that uses the mappoint control and I would like to allow my users to bring up the location sensor just like they went to Tools and chose Location Sensor in Mappoint 2004. Alternatively if that can be accomplished directly is it possible to make the whole Tools menu item active?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    thanks in advance.
