| Can you work out what these co-ordinate are ? The coordinates are -2423015768 639065430 Should be a location in/ near Australia. So anyone able to man up to it ?         |

If they are in Australia, then they are probably for one of the UTM zones that crosses Australia, or using an Australia-specific coordinate system. Most countries have at least one coordinate system of their own created by their nationally mapping agency or equivalent.

Try the independent MapInfo-L e-mail list/group. It's hosted by Google now. You can find it. From experience I know there are a lot of geo-scientists/experts on there! Erc
