Cannot see the Symbol ID from the Pushpin object after searc

I've created linked dataset and multiple pushpins datamap. When I perform the FindNearby() I have several results returned and they are OK, but when I try to access Symbol property from the Pushpin object it's invalid (though on the map all pushpins are displayed correctly). I'm using C# and MapPoint 2004 NorthAmerica. If someone can help I will really appreciate this.
