I second Jake's request. The ability to turn on/off various items--cities, the title "United States", the Canadian provinces, state names--is essential.
I cast my vote for this feature to be included as well. Especially with the terrain map. It is too cluttered with all this extra data. Thanks!
I definitely need to get rid of the detail for my application. What I would like is to just display country boundry info and then chart my own pushpin locations, e.g., marking all commercial airports globally. Of course I am looking the use this functionality as a small part of another application. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
I agree!
PLEASE Microsoft! Drop the detail! WAY TOO MUCH clutter to be really effective!
Dido the request. Just because the goal is simplicity doesn't mean we should have to sacrifice some customization.
I agree, too!
I would like to be able to create a map with no towns at all. Or one with only the capitals, if I like. Especially if you're working with maps of a single European country (might be the same with a single state in the US version), too many towns are shown and distract attention from other information.
Regards,
Ute
I also required the same feature in on of our intranet application. In case this feature this out please email me at s_kayal80@hotmail.com
Thanks

I agree with this completely. You should also be able to hide certain Pushpin data sets, while still displaying other Pushpin data sets.
