Hi,

does anyone has a solution to change the way mappoint (2006 or 2009) is displayed .

I want to see if it's possible to make mappoint reacts like a real GPS. Viewing our movment like if we are sitting in our vehicle insted of view them from over the globe.

so you do not want to display Map ?

if you use "Instruction" from Calculate() you did have GeoDirectionAction.
you can use these Action Value and show a Picture, play a Video or
something else you like. Lates i saw was a "live" Webcam which was
overlay by Direction Arrows ... but this is not "buildin" MapPoint

I just want to know if it's possible to change the way maps are displayed at the screen. Instead of having a bird's view, I'm looking for a view that looks like the one we have on a standard GPS device.

hi,
as i say : it is possible, but it is not "buildin" MapPoint. you have to write
your own Code, Calulate actual GPS Position compare to GeoDirectionAction
and present new "View" from "your Data" e.g. WebCam.

... that is what the Guy say to me as i say his Application with MapPoint 2006
