Check error with VBA before adding pushpin

Here's my problem: I'm using a DB where I read streets, cuty names, postalcodes,... from.
The intention is to add a pushpin on every place described in the DB. But sometimes it happens that a street is mistyped which cause an error or a wrong placed pushpin.
For example: The original name is 'PaardeKerkhof'. But if I take Paardenkerkhof, then he puts a pushpin on the other sideof the country (for the curious people: Belgium)
Is there a way that I will always be sure that the placed pushpin is the wright one, in such a way that the users don't has to check all records (probably more than 1000 records)

If the mistyped address matches an address in MapPoint then no. If there is bad data (mis typed address) it needs to be fixed. If you were able to make a work around how much time do you spend on it vs. how much time to fix the data? (My 2 cents worth)
