| Checking the vertex within the shape I am creating different zones using shape object. But while creating I don't want the shapes to overlap, that means each shape should be unique. So I want to check on click event whether a particular location falls within the existing shape. How to check. |

Hi, You mention onClick, so I assume that you want to have the user draw shapes and that the program must forbid that the shapes overlap each other? Yes OnClick event is indeed the right place to check. If overlap then some action can be taken. You don't tell if you want the user to use the drawing tools but as an alternative you could draw the lines yourself. I think your program has more control on such things.
