You can already define your own map symbols. Select the pushpin button on the drawing toolbar, and a popup menu will list the pre-defined symbols.
There's a button there that lets you define your own symbols.

Latitude,longitude output is possible with a little bit of programming.
"Out of the box" longitude,latitude output is only possible with the Location Sensor.
