Just briefly..: 1. Can interface with native c, C++? Yes. 2. Is MP2k4 a ActiveX application? Yes. This is one option, the other would be OLE Automation, it can do either. 3. Will MP2k4 work without MSC? (MFC?) Yes. 4. Is internet connectivity required? No, not for the desktop product.. note that there's also a MapPoint web service, this is a separate product. Eric
