| contour line-yes we need them
There are technical applications for contour lines/elevation data also. It would be really usefull for wireless communications planners to be able to look at the elevation profile between two points.         |

Contour lines, Elevation Data, Land Use Land Cover, (real) import for Mif, Shape, .e00 files would all be great. There is a ton of data that currently simply cannot be well integrated. Some of the crippling of the software imposed by the licensing agreement microsoft has made pose real problems in making this a truly powerful package. (ie when you can't do something as simple as get lat,lon from a location object...that is crippled, when you can't do (even badly implemented) location translation for more than 10,000 points that is crippled). It is a shame becauses its a great produce that could be amazing. |
