I apologise if this has been asked on here before but I can't seem to find a solution htat sorts this out. The string from my GPS unit reads:

$GPRMC,112656,5326.1470,N,00234.4927,W,58.5,306.1, 150803,4.5,W,Y

but I can't find a conversion from the long and lat format to a usable set of values for mappoint.

Please help

Cheers I had found that but it would not give me the right answer, however, since posting i've found that its cos I'm in the UK and using 2002. The coords in my GPS kit are OSGB standard whereas mappoint uses WGS84 standard (or so i'm led to believe anyways) so the points are constantly a bit out. Do you know of any conversion between the two formats?
