Copying and pasting part of a map - is it possible?

Right, i have mapped 5 counties in wales and placed a number of symbols (schools, parks, etc) on each of these counties. Now what i want to do is send someone JUST Swansea and not let them see the info i have for all 4 other counties. Is this possible?

e.g. ideally, i want to copy and paste swansea with all the symbols i have created onto a new mappoint document, therefore Swansea being the only area with any data on it.

Many thanks for any help that may be forthcoming!

You're not going to like it, but you could copy the file and then delete the other stuff.

If you just have pushpins, then Export-To-Excel (for a selection rectangle around Swansea) and then re-imported using Data Import Wizard would work, although pushpin images might change.

hmm.... have had a bit of a play around as a result of the reply above.

i think it looks like the only way around is deleting the non-swansea data and then save as.....

that'll take a while... ill myabe do this next week, so if anyone else has any bright ideas in the meantime let me know!

    thanks
