Salvia, Virginia NE of Richmond.
Me too. Is the answer the VA coordinate?
Me too. Is the answer the VA coordinate?
Is this for a quiz or something?
To use MapPoint, it would help to first convert the lat/lon to decimal, this can be done using the formula or tool here:
http://www.directionsmag.com/latlong.asp
lat: 37.951806
lon: -77.145556
I concur with SideStep. There's a little lake or pond at the location about a quarter of a mile long and a tenth of a mile wide. MapPoint NA does not have the name for it.

Hi there~am certain that we are searching for one in the same though I've only recently joined the search....
Help, if you can! I've got the Virginia location but not a notated site.
Love this stuff, right!?
~ thanks!
What kind of notated site, like a historical marker? Perhaps a battle was fought there?
Also, what quiz is this for?

That is 1 degree south of Kryptos a sculpture located on the grounds of CIA Headquarters in Langley, Virginia ( http://elonka.com/kryptos/ ). The coordinates are a part of the The DaVinci Code: Uncover The Code Contest ( http://www.randomhouse.com/doubleday/davinci/ ). I believe that the coordinates are located somewhere on the DaVinci Code cover. I can't see them on my Book club version.
