County Territory

I have a list of Customer Names and Sales Manager of different addresses.

Unfortunately, my file does not have a county name.

What I want to do is to import the data using the zip code and have mappoint tell me what county name that zip code belongs to.

I am able to import the data but I don't know how to export the data back to excel with the county names included.

PLEASE HELP ME.

Wink Re: County Territory

Unfortunately, many zipcodes span county lines, and vice versa. About the closest you can get is to compute the centroid of each zipcode, and then use the ObjectsFromPoint(location) method to determine which county it is primarily in.

Optionally, you could download one of my support files which has all the US ZipCodes in a table along with state and county. It's available at ZipCountyStateData.zip
