Shapes



I'd like shapes to be a bit more 'useful' as follows:-

• A 'Visible' property (on both the shape object and the shapes collection)
• A 'ReadOnly' property (on both the shape object and the shapes collection)
• The ability to see if one point (pushpin) is contained in any of the shapes (rather than having to iterate through all of the shapes to see if it contains the pushpin).

The Visible property would be useful to only show specified shapes - at the moment, the only way I can figure out how to do this is to copy the wanted shapes from another map and then paste them into the one we're looking at.

The ReadOnly property would mean that you could show the shape(s) to the user and then decide if they can 'edit' them.


Route calculation

At the moment, you can set the speeds for the different types of roads - which is cool. It would be great to be able to set different speeds for different times of day (for the different types of roads). It would also be useful to be able to have shapes with their own speeds (for different times of day) so that the route calculation timings can be more accurate if the route goes through those shapes.


Bus lanes

It would be nice to have a setting that says whether routes can use a bus lane or not!



I don't suppose anyone from Microsoft actually looks at this forum do they?
