Re: Create new layer in MapPoint

Hi,

MapPoint does not have layers. Maybe a workaround is (eventually programatically) use the drawing tools and save the map.

Re: Create new layer in MapPoint

Main purpose is many things as importing datasets, calculating routes and you can use mappoint embedded in custom program for example to display fleet

Re: Create new layer in MapPoint

Hi there, I believe MapInfo would be the best bet for you. You can create individual tables (layers) that you can turn on and off, change looks and feel...etc. Wanting to go the thematic route will also be good with MapInfo. It is very user friendly and pretty much guides you down the road and you just pick what data you want to throw in the mix. If you need help..let me know.
