| Creating COM add-ins for MapPoint using C# When creating one using the VS.Net IDE I’m offered all the standard Office applications for the Extensibility interface but MapPoint isn’t listed. I tried creating one having selected Word, but then MapPoint won’t load it telling me that it’s not a valid Office add-in. I’ll admit I’m new to COM Interop and need a little direction! Hope you can help. J.         |

You need MapPoint 2004 installed. In VS.NET Choose "Other Projects | Extensibility Projects | Shared Add-In". Start the Add-in Wizard. On page1 of the wizard Choose C#, on page 2 Check the box for MapPoint. Hope this helps.. John
