Creating Territories from a linked data set problem

Hi, I'm relatively new to MapPoint and have come across a slight problem when creating territories from either an Excel spreadsheet or a .udl file linked to an SQL Server 2005 database.

After setting up a number of territories across the UK, one of our managers exported the data to excel and sent it to me to be uploaded onto our server. When I uploaded the data it does not match what is in the spreadsheet. I decided I would upload the data into SQL Server and see if this would help, it didn't!!

I decided I would create a territory manually using Postcode Districts, export this to Excel, exit MapPoint, create a new map and import the territory from the data in the spreadsheet. This again did not work, completely disredarding what is actually in the spreadsheet.

Can someone give me any pointers as to what I may be doing wrong or if this is a common problem within MapPoint?

Thanks in advance...

There is a casing problem in MP Europe 2006. You'll have to read the postcode sector names in as lower case ie kt17 instead of KT17.
