Creation GeoFence at runtime using MapPoint 2006

Hi,

We are in serach of creating geofence at runtime using mappoint 2006. We came to know Microsoft location server supports it. but we do not have any idea regarding it's implementation in MapPoint 2006.

It's an urgent and any help is highly appreciable.

Thanks & Regards.

You can query pushpins by shape.

This can also be done with custom programming, and would probably the best approach to meet your needs in a streamlined manner.

Thanks Richard.
The custom programming does too strike me, but i wish to have some support from Mappoint 2004/2006 (in term of APIs). It would be of great help, if Mappoint 2004/2006 provides any such facilities.

Look forward to hear...
Regards.

As I said, you can query pushpins by shape. Use the QueryPolygon or QueryShape methods on a recordset to find those pushpins that are in the shape.
