1) Can anybody give a example of creating a custom data source with data. ?

2)I am currently using mappoint web service trial version . when i tried to create a data source there is one field called Geocoding level (matched method): which consists of the following options street , Postcode , city , Subdivision , CountryRegion

Can sombody explain in details what they actually mean ?

Hello,

1. You can find detailed information about creating data files in the SDK if you search for 'Formatting MapPoint Web Service Data Source Files'

2. There is a hiearchy in an address from most accurate (Address) to least accurate (CountryRegion). This setting allows you to specify how high up this hierarchy the geocoder will go to get a geocode. So, if it can't find the street address do you want it to try to geocode the postal code?
