cut and paste push pins

Im using Mappoint 2004. I have created a driving route which features 95 stops that will be travelled. My question is that I want to add a stop to the route. I dont want to have to recreate the entire route. But, I have the ability to make a new map that has the newly created pushpin on it. Is there any way I can open the new map, cut the new pushpin (and its information, which I MUST have) and paste it into my already created map that has the established route on it? I hope this question made sense.

Thanks

Re: cut and paste push pins

Yes, Nick, it should be possible. You can open two instances of MapPoint, right-click on the desired pushpin, select copy (Ctrl+C), then go to the second instance of MapPoint, and paste (Ctrl+V) the pushpin there.

Re: cut and paste push pins

I was unsuccessful in the copy and paste across two instances of Mappoint running. I tried it several times with no luck. Im suprised that it wont work concidering how Microsoft data is normally transferrable between different programs.
