Data showing in wrong locations

I'm working with Mappoint 2009 and when i try to use a column or sized pie chart, the data displays in the wrong locations (for example using the data mapping wizard and trying to show population by age groups / by MSA, data for Charlotte NC will show up in Tennessee). I've tried uninstalling and re-installing the program but no luck. Any ideas?

thanks very much for the help!

Re: Data showing in wrong locations

Hmm. That sounds so odd. Maybe it's a bug with the data.

Can you post a screenshot?

Eric

Re: Data showing in wrong locations

Thanks for your help. I've attached a screen shot where you can see that the population information for Dallas TX MSA is showing up in Los Angeles. I have been trying a few things since I first posted the message and it seems that the only data that has problems is with metro areas. If I map by city, county or state all appears to show up correctly - unfortunately I really need to map some data by MSA.

Thanks again for your help,
Patti

Gosh. I would just have to say maybe try to get a copy of MapPoint 2006.

I played around with it a little bit and can confirm the bug. (See attached). I don't know of a workaround.
