I just created a MapPoint map from an Excel spreadsheet. The map consists of a country split up in area code regions and companies who do business in those regions (one company per area code). Now the map is linked to the source data from my spreadsheet, and when I change any of that Excel data, the map changes the way it is supposed to, i.e. when I change (in MSExcel) the dominant company for area code region "33" from company A to company B, the map changes accordingly.

And here comes my question: How in heaven can I link my map to the spreadsheet, so that the Excel data changes when I change the map?

Or simpler: how can I make it work the other way 'round? I have maps changing when I change spreadsheet data, what I want though is spreadsheet data to change when I change the map.

I am interested in knowing if there is a way to enter UTM coordinates with names in an excel spreadsheet and upload them directly to a garmin gps?
