Delphi/Mappoint - Modal Form looses Focus & sent to back

Help, I have mappoint embedded on my main form, when I open a modal dialog box and use a combobox or date control the dialog that currently has focus disappears (it goes behind the form with mappoint embedded). Any ideas on how to prevent this froom happening.

Thanks

I'm having the same problem and no solution for it. Maybe you've solved it by now and I would be more than happy if anyone could post a workaround.

Hi,

We hade long ago similar problem with D5 and mappoint 2003. I could not remember so we sticked our heads together and reason was because we gaved mappoint a wrong handle. Note that in D5 it was not possible to use the ActiveX control, so we hade own build component for it.

Another workaround could be to post a message to the form with a slight delay to set it to foreground.

Hope this helps a little.
