Determine Time Zone from Address/Location
This is a discussion on Determine Time Zone from Address/Location within the MapPoint Web Service and Virtual Earth forums, part of the Map Forums category; Is there a way to determine the time zone a particular address or location is in? Thanks for any help....

Are you using the MapPoint Web Service or Virtual Earth or MapPoint 2006?

I don't see anything about it in the FAQ or Fact Sheet for 4.0, so I am thinking he might have been mistaken...  What's New at MP2K Magazine Eric

I searched through the MapPoint Web Service SDK and can't find anything about time zones. Web searches didn't turn up anything except some other products that let you look up time zones in various ways from geographic data. It's one of those things that seems like it should be in MPWS. |
