 Determining a city's primary / main zip code? For example, I know the most likely main zip code for Sacramento, CA is 95814. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Stephen         |

How would you define what the "primary / main zip code" is? I think the answer to that question will probably lead you to a solution. All but the smallest cities will have multiple zipcodes in their Central Business Districts. For something rough and ready, why not just do a city lookup in a the US Census Bureau's list of cities? Richard
