Question: How would I go about determining what polygon shapes are present on a map? Someone sent me a map with boundary data (line segments and their related points that define boundaries. I know I can query a polygon from a dataset but from my limited experience, I would think one would have to have pushpins set in order to do that? Am I missing something here? Is there a way to determine the shapes from the line segments and points that exist?

The shapes on the map are in the shapes collection. You can enumerate the collection.

The points or locations are for the shape are in the vertices property of the shape (which is an array). It must be a geoLine or geoFreeform type shape which sounds like what you describe.
