Using MP 2004 when looking at a map it shows many of the roads as SRXXXX as opposed to the local road name (Main Street).

However when I create a route it shows me the local name.

How can I configure the program to show me the local road name all the time. Thanks

I agree with you. Another good feature would also be like what Delorme has. Put the cursor over the road and it will show the full name.

If you find a way to change to names, which are on the street signs, please let me know.

This would be extremely helpful to me and my company as well. Does anyone know of a fix for this or a patch/plug-in/etc to display the actual road name instead of the state's road id? (in MapPoint 2006)..
