Yes custom programming or a third party add-in. Yes we sell such an addin Our MileCharter product ( MileCharter: Home Page ) was originally written to find mileages (+travel times, and costs) from one group of locations (a pushpin set) and another - calculating all combinations. This would do what you want although an Excel macro would be required to pick the closest. The Professional license of MileCharter can be told to report the closest only. So you can do calculations/queries along the lines of "only report the 3 closest locations that are also within 50 miles". Note that this is typically much faster as MileCharter is clever enough to only calculate routes which have a chance of being shorter than the existing best-so-far. There's a free trial for 14 days - see link above. Professional license is $100 (basic without this feature is $60) Richard
