I have written VBA code to return the driving time and distance between two points choosen by the user, i also want to return a true or false value if the activeroute calculated passes through a zone.

In this case the zone would be a central london, i thought i could create a detour zone around it but rather than detour just tell me if the calculated route passes through or not?

Im a bit lost, please help?

Looks like you can set an area to be avoided when calculating a route, but the shape must be a rectangle (or I guess a number of rectangles).

See the Avoided property of the Shape object.
