Is it possible when i use the draw circle tool to have a smaler line???

ps: is there a way to avoid using the standard tool and call the draw circle button from a my custom button?? i use only this feature.. the rest of the toolbar is useless for me.

I don't know of a way to modify the built-in toolbars (maybe the C/C++ experts in here know how to do it ???) but you could code a MapPoint add-in with VB6 that should be able to do what you want..

However, then you'd have to click Tools | [your tool] first. maybe not bad and would be an improvement for you ?

Hi,

You you can. You need the MouseDown and MouseUp events where you start drawing / resizing the circle. You also can use alternative techniques for better comfort for the user. For example click for the center point, then resize without holding down the button, click again to fix the size.

Sorry i was not clear. I'm talkin abaout the size of the line used to draw the circle. Can be customized?

Yes, on the toolbar on the right, next to the Arrows button there is a button to change the line width, this will make the Circle have a smaller line.

There is a property Weight to set the size of the line.
