My company deals in real estate and we use MapPoint 2006 with a USB GPS. It would be helpful if we could pick a point on a map and have an add on or a macro that would show a 2 mile driving distance on every connecting road, including turns etc. Rather than the circle effect of the 2 mi radius or the polygon drawn by the drive time function, the end result of this would appear to be a "spider web" or "cracked glass" that follows all possible road routes for 2 miles.

Can someone help me with this?

Hi. Since only one route is allowed at one time, this is going to be rather
difficult. The only software I'm aware of that might do this is named Tour
Solver - someone correct me if I'm wrong.

TourSolver is multi-route tool, but it is intended for multi-route optimization.

Eg. 50 customers and 10 vehicles, how should I route them? It can handle dozens of other constraints as well (capacity, time, legal limits,etc)

Do you believe that TourSolver can help with this problem in its current form? If not, can it be adapted?

Probably not, although TourSolver has its own road database (this is how it can do things that are 'impossible' in MapPoint).

For what you are wanting to do, I think the drive time zones are the best way within MapPoint. Beyond that, you are probably looking at a proper GIS system.
