editing map types

Hi all,
apart from the default settings, is there any possiblity to influence
- colours
- positions
- sizes
esp. of pie and column charts? Have been trying quite a while now, without any success...
Can anyone help me?
Thanks
Bogart

You can move a piechart just by selecting it and dragging it where you want.

As far as editing the color or size, I don't think Mappoint allows you anything beyond selecting small, medium, or large, chart sizes in the wizard.

Are you just trying to make the map more readable or are you trying to do something else?

Thanks for your answer!
I want to make the map more readable, as sometimes the charts overlap or just have inconvenient size.
But concerning the dragging, I can't select them - at least not by clicking on them???
Regards
Bogart

Yeah, I'm sorry, made a map and was able to drag a pie chart before I answered your post, now I'm not able to do it. I'm not sure if I was halucinating or what. I don't know, but they're not moving. I could have sworn they were just like pushpins. Whoops

Bogart,

I just tried another map and created some pie charts and column charts and I was able to select them and move them. I don't know what was different this time as opposed to last. And I can't seem be able to reproduce the situation where I couldn't move them. I've made three more maps and am able to move charts of all sorts in every one of them. Very odd.

You are unable to click on the charts and move them?

Hi Jake,
thanks a lot for your effort. Must be related to my own stupidity then...
Indeed, I can move pushpins, but neither pies nor charts...
Perhaps I can figure it out somehow. But strange enough that you obviously can do so?!?
Well, thanks again

moving charts

Hi
finally I found out that you can move charts. But only these that are not cumulated/averaged in any way...
so I would have to adapt my database...took a while...
Cheers
