Ensuring Wireless Security with WirelessMon 2.0
Sydney, Australia, May 26th 2006 - PassMark(TM) Software today announced the release of WirelessMon 2.0, the long-awaited new version of their wireless network monitoring software. WirelessMon 2.0 is the ideal tool for identifying security risks resulting from unsecured wireless servers and for plotting geographic coverage of wireless networks on a map.
The new map plotting feature enables users to create a WiFi 'coverage map' by automatically plotting the relative signal strength and number of detected signals on an imported map. Tracking points may either be entered manually or read directly from Global Positioning System (GPS) devices.
