| Environmental Protection Agency chooses Virtual Earth Platform The EPA announced a decision to use the Virtual Earth platform to build their geospatial apps. Read the news here. One of their goals is to expose some of their library of map related data to the general public. VE has a simple javascript API that wraps the 3D control allowing them to offer 3D data visualization in their own apps, which could be one of the reasons for their choice in platforms.
