I am wanting to find all the hotels and motels inside a designated territory that expands over multiple states. Under "Find Nearby Places," I can only expand the search radius to be 50 miles. Is there any way to change the radius so that I can do one search for all hotels over multiple states at once? Thanks for the help!

According to the MapPoint help, FindNearby can be extended programmatically.
We created a commercial COM Addin for this should you need such service integrated into your operations.

I believe FindNearby will only go up to 50 miles whether programmatically or not... to extract for larger areas, the way people do it is set up a grid, and then go around and keep extracting from each grid point. The grid points have to be close enough to each other to overlap and not miss any area.

Right, I was referring to QueryCircle

Cool. Does QueryCircle work with POI's? So you could potentially draw a huge circle and extract all of the North America POI's in one swoop?
