I need to find out how to export the push pin Information data into a an Excel spreadsheet where each line item of the push pin Information box appears as a column in the spreadsheet. I know this can be done since I have one map in which this is being accomplished already. However I am creating a new map and when I attempt this it puts all of the info into 1 column. FYI- I am currently running Map Point 2002nwith the WIN_XP platform.

If it is only one map that is doing that maybe the map is corrupt? How are you exporting to excel? How may pushpins/datasets are on the map? What have you tried so far (what have you ruled out?

When I place a push pin I create a data set such as pin shape' color, and data set name. I then create an elipse of the area of pushpins I want to create a spreadsheet on. Right click, export to Excel.and the spreadsheet is created. The typical format I use for the push pin is: Name in name area. Lat:#####/Lon:#### in the information area. What I am trying to do is set a column for the lat & lon.

Hi,
Have a quick question, on the mappoint I've added pushpin, and then added them as a stop. Question is how I can make export to excel together with those numbers of stops?
Can someone help me with this??

I'm not quite sure what you mean.
MapPoint itself can export pushpins to Excel by using the "Export to Excel" option. Select the pins and then right click. "Export to Excel" is on the menu.

John Meyer's Pushpin Tool (available from this site or mine) will export pushpins with some additional information such as longitude, latitude coordinates.

If you have created a route from some pushpins, and wish to export the pushpins in route order, then you need my "RouteWriter" add-in. See http://www.routewriter.com
