The only way I have found so far to associate any data with a pushpin in a MapPoint map saved as HTML is to associate a hyperlink with each pushpin. This causes MapPoint to generate an AREA tag in HTML for each pushpin.
To see an example of this, set a hyperlink for one of your pushpins, then save the file as a web page and edit the resulting HTML. After the MAP tag you will see AREA tags and you should be able to find the hyperlink that you set.
What I would like to do is be able to set the alt attribute in the AREA tag for these pushpins from MapPoint, not afterwards by editing the HTML.
Anyone have any thoughts on that?
It worked perfectly .. :P
One More doubt.. Can we have a blinking pushpin or any other symbol so that as and when I open a map it has to blink ..
You could if MapPoint supported GIFs, then you could use an animated GIF. It only supports bmp, cur and ico graphics for pushpins.
Happy mapping, anyway!
