Exporting Pushpin Counts in a radius

I have a map with stores plotted as well as consumers who purchased a product. I am not a programmer so the only way I have found to export counts of consumers who purchased within a 5 mile radius of the store is very manual. Is there an addon or a way to:
    1. Automatically draw a radius around a pushpin set
    2. Export the data within that radius to provide a count of consumers who purchased the product

I tried to use a trial of MP Supershape but it crashed on my Windows 7 computer.

    Thanks.

I'd be interested in how MPSuperShape crashed and what you were doing exactly - then I can fix it! (send the info via the contact forum/email address on the MPSuperShape.com website).

It can be used to export pushpins in shapes, but MapPoint can also do this. Neither are the best way of doing what you want (yes custom programming is).
One alternative would be our MPMileCharter program which could be used to list those within 5 miles.

Also it sounds like you want straight line ("as the crow flies") distances? If so, MPMileCharter would probably be overkill - especially if you have the coordinates. MPMileCharter would do the logic (only find those within 5miles) and can handle straight lines, but really comes into its own for route distances. With the coordinates in Excel, you could compute distances using trigonometry, and then extract those with 5 miles.
