i have just registered but read this forum mant time..

I have try to extract the POI with VB6 and algorithm from article
"Extracting the Mappoint 2002 Points of Interest " (tnx), but i have notice that for many point the only data extracted is the strName and coordinata, but view it in mappoint directly are present all data (city, postal code etc); for these POI the object oLocFR.StreetAddress is nothing, so other data is extracted.

More: the phone number is never extracted

Are there any tips regarding this problem ??

The data displayed in the business card listings of POI within the MapPoint application is extracted in directly from the map data in a special way. In the code used in the article posted in this site, the developer is using the StreetAdress property of the Location Objects obtained by the FindNearby method (all of this depending on the MapPoint Object model functionality); the object model depends on a different algorithm to get the information from the POI and sometimes that algorithm doesn't quite work, and you don't get valid values for the street, city, region, postalcode and country properties.
