| Extracting Postcode i am working on a project and i need to gather the post codes that fall within a 10, 15, and 20 mile radius of a site. I have got these already on my map but at the moment i am having to manually check and list all the postcodes, and this is running into the hundreds. I have to do this for over 150 sites and was wondering if anyone knew a way of exporting all of the postcodee to excel etc. Any help would be appreciated. |

| Re: Extracting Postcode I have the 10, 15 and 20 mile radius on the map showing all the post within these respectively, but currently I am writing these all down with a pen and pad. I was hoping there was a way to extract all of these at once. Thanks, sorry for any confusion. |

I’m being dim here but I’m still not certain what you’re after. If the postcodes are a geography built in to MapPoint then it’s quite straightforward to export them to excel. For example in the UK If you want to list out all postcode sectors with a 10-mile radius just go to Data Mapping Wizard, then Add Demographics To The Map, then choose a variable (any variable as this is in effect a dummy), choose Show the data by Postcode Sector and finally let the data map. Then if you right click on your 10 mile radius on your map and export to excel you get a list of all the postcode sectors. This is probably not what you’re after but let me know!!
