Fast Calculation of Driving Distance between 2 points
I could use a fast calculation of the Driving Distance and Driving Time between two locations. Perhaps if the map were not drawn and the itinerary not created these values could be returned much faster?

Totally - I'm using MapPoint within an Excel MAcro and the calculate method looks SLOW. Any faster ways of getting driving distance between two points I don't know of?

We are in the middle of building a table of locations (more than a thousand locations, actually) with distances between each location pair. The end result is a pivot table of all of our locations, with mileages noted (not unlike the mileage grids one might find in maps and atlases. We have an Excel macro that grabs the mileages from MapPoint right now. It's not very efficient (yet), but it's reasonably fast. When it's done we can post it here.

I think that what you need is this:

This program basically take in 2 Excel spreadsheets and computes a table of driving distances from them.

distances
Hi everybody,

I would like to calculate ditances between a list of zipcodes and one town.
These zipcodes are in an excel file.
Mappoint match maker won't allow me to do that because it needs full adresses. Do you know another way of doing that ( could you please give me your macro even if it is slow?)
